What You'll Need:

  • Mild detergent (or gentle stain remover)
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Water
  • Toothbrush
  • Soft rag

Step 1: Pre-treatment

For fresh stains, start by pre-treating with detergent, specifically one that's mild and designed for delicates. Rub gently from the back of the fabric towards the surface of the garment. Then, let it sit for five minutes before rinsing with cold water.

Step 2: Vinegar & Baking Soda

Mix two parts white vinegar and one part baking soda, and add enough water to create a paste-like consistency. Using an old toothbrush, scrub the mixture into the stain and let it sit for fifteen minutes.

Step 3: Rinse & Repeat

Rinse the stained area with cold water and repeat steps 1-3 if stain is still visible.

Step 4: Hand Wash

To finish, hand wash your sleep pants with cool water and mild detergent. Hang them up to air dry.
