What You’ll Need To Clean The Stain:
- Dish soap
- A sponge
- White vinegar
- Water
Stain Removal Steps:
- Create a mixture of one part dish soap and one part white vinegar. Dilute the mixture with two parts cold water.
- Using a sponge, gently dab affected area with the solution.
- Blot the stain with a clean cloth, and continue to repeat this process until the stain has been removed.
- Rinse the area with warm water.
- If the stain is still visible, use a small amount of diluted detergent or enzymatic cleaner to remove the last traces.
Additional Tips:
- Whenever treating a stain, always test the cleaning method on an inconspicuous area of the fabric first.
- Avoid using hot water, even for rinsing, as this can cause stain to set.
- If stain persists, take garment to a professional dry cleaner.
