Instructions
- Check the tag for instructions about how to care for the item. Many garments are dry clean only.
- If the item can be washed, mix a solution of one teaspoon of liquid, color-safe detergent and two tablespoons of white vinegar in one quart of warm water.
- Dip a sponge into the solution and gently rub it on the stain.
- Rinse the item in cold water.
- If the stain remains, dip a cotton swab into rubbing alcohol and dab at the area.
- Place the item a white or light-colored towel and iron it with a steam setting.
- If the stain still is present, take the item to the dry cleaner.
