What You'll Need

- White vinegar
- Soft cloths or scrub
Instructions
- Start by rubbing a few drops of dish soap or liquid laundry detergent directly onto the stained area. Gently massage the fabric with your fingers for 30 seconds.
- Rinse the fabric with cold water to remove the soap. If stain is still visible, move on to the next step.
- Create a solution of one part white vinegar and three parts water. Carefully saturate the stain with this mixture.
- Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before rubbing it in with a clean cloth or a soft-bristle scrub brush. Continue massaging until stain begins to remove.
- Rinse the fabric with cold water. If the stain remains, repeat steps 1–4 until stain is gone.
- Once the stain is removed, hang the item up to dry naturally.
Tips and Warnings
- Test the dish soap and white vinegar solution on a small, inconspicuous area of your fabric before use. This will ensure that it won't cause any discoloration.
- Do not place the item in the dryer until you are sure the stain has been completely removed.
