BBQ sauce stains are tough to get off and can really ruin the look of your favorite pieces of clothing. Fortunately, it is not impossible to remove BBQ sauce stains from your favorite garments. Here is a step-by-step guide to removing BBQ sauce stains from your favorite leggings:

Step 1: Scrape off Excess Sauce

The first step is to scrape off any excess sauce that may be lingering on the garment. Be sure to use a dull knife or spoon in order to avoid damaging the fabric. After scraping, remove any remaining bits of sauce with a damp cloth.

Step 2: Pre-treat the Stain

Once excess sauce has been removed, pretreat the stain by applying a small amount of liquid detergent directly onto stain. Let the detergent sit on the stain for 5-10 minutes before rinsing.

Step 3: Wash your Leggings

Now it’s time to wash your leggings! Place the leggings in the washing machine and add the usual amount of laundry detergent. Set the washer’s cycle to the “gentle” or “delicate” setting to minimize wear and tear on the fabric. Finally, select cold water for the rinse cycle.

Step 4: Dry Leggings

After washing the leggings, dry them on the lowest heat setting. Be sure to keep an eye on the leggings while drying to ensure they don’t shrink or become over-dried. Once the leggings have finished drying, you should be able to check out and admire the new and improved look.
