Use a paper towel or clean cloth to blot away any excess sauce. Repeat this step as necessary until all the sauce has been removed from the surface of the fabric.
Mix a small amount of laundry detergent with cold water and use a soft-bristled brush to apply it directly to the stained area. You can also spray pre-treatment stain remover onto area before proceeding.
Rinse area with cold water until you see the stain start to lift away. Do not scrub as this could actually make the stain worse.
Assuming that the stain has been completely removed, launder the garment according to the directions on the care label. Hang the jacket up to air dry afterwards, as heat from a dryer could cause the stain to set permanently.
That's it! With these four simple steps, you should now have a stain-free jacket that’s ready to wear.
