  • Mild detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Cold water
  • Absorbent cloths

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Mix a small amount of mild detergent with cold water until it creates a soapy solution.
  2. Dip a clean absorbent cloth into the soapy solution.
  3. Gently rub the stained area of the gingham fabric with damp cloth.
  4. Rinse the fabric with clean cold water.
  5. If the stain persists, mix together ½ cup of white vinegar and two cups of cold water.
  6. Soak the stained area of the gingham in the vinegar mixture for 10 minutes.
  7. Rinse the gingham with cold water and inspect for any remaining traces of the stain.
  8. If the stain remains, repeat steps 3-7 until it is completely removed.
