Step 1: Wipe it Off

The first step is to quickly get rid of as much sauce as possible by wiping it off with a damp cloth. Make sure to use a soft, clean cloth and avoid using too much water or rubbing too hard as this could cause damage to the material.

Step 2: Apply Soap and Water

For more persistent stains, mix a few drops of mild soap with some warm water in a bowl and stir until it forms a sudsy solution. Use a soft cloth to dab the suds onto the stain and leave for 5 minutes. Once again, take care not to rub too hard as it could damage the fabric.

Step 3: Dab with Vinegar

After you've wiped away as much of the suds as possible, pour a little white vinegar onto the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then dab the stain with a clean cloth dipped in warm water. Keep repeating this process until the stain has completely disappeared.

Step 4: Rinse and Dry

Once you're happy that the stain has been removed, rinse the area with cold water and allow it to air dry before wearing flip flops again.
