sauce

If you've ever dropped some barbecue sauce on your espadrilles, you know how difficult it can be to remove. It often takes a few tries, and the process can take quite a bit of time.

But don't worry! With the right techniques, you can quickly and effectively remove the stain from your shoes. Here's what you need to do:

Start by Blotting the Stain

Find a paper towel or some absorbent cloth and start blotting away at the stain. Make sure to not rub too hard, as it could damage the fabric of your espadrilles. Keep blotting until you’ve soaked up as much of the sauce as you can.

Apply Detergent Solution

Mix one teaspoon of liquid detergent with two cups of lukewarm water. Use a clean white cloth to apply the solution to the stain. Gently rub it into the fabric. After that, rinse area with lukewarm water.

Rinse With Vinegar Solution

Mix one part white vinegar with two parts water in a separate container. Dip a clean cloth into the solution, then use it to rinse the affected area. This will help to break down any remaining oil or grease from sauce.

Dry the Shoes

After you’ve followed all of the steps above, you should dry your shoes thoroughly. The best way to do this is to use an absorbent cloth and press lightly on the areas where the stain was. You can also let them air dry for a few hours.
