What You Need

  • Soft brush
  • Warm water
  • Detergent or mild soap
  • Nail polish remover (optional)

How to Clean off BBQ Sauce Stains

  1. If stain is fresh, start by gently brushing away any excess sauce using a soft brush.
  2. Next, make a soapy solution by mixing warm water with a mild detergent or soap. Note: avoid using harsh cleaning products or bleaches as these can damage the material of your shoe.
  3. With a clean cloth, apply the soapy solution directly onto the stain and let it soak for a few minutes.
  4. Once finished, rinse the area with clean water using a second cloth. Make sure that the cloth is free of excess water before wiping the area dry.
  5. If stain is still visible, try dabbing some nail polish remover onto affected area using a clean cloth. Scrub lightly and rinse one last time with warm water.
