Materials Needed

  • Clean white cloths
  • Mild dish soap or laundry detergent
  • Clean sponge
  • White toothpaste (non-gel)
  • White vinegar
  • Hairdryer (optional)

Removing the Sauce

First, use a clean white cloth to blot stained area with warm water. Do not rub stain as this may cause it to spread or set in further. Once you have blotted the area, use a small amount of mild dish soap or laundry detergent together with the cloth and gently scrub the area in circular motions. Rinse the cloth frequently while cleaning and do not saturate the fabric with too much soap.

If the stain persists, mix a teaspoon of white toothpaste with a teaspoon of white vinegar and apply it to the stain with a clean cloth. Rub the mixture gently and rinse the cloth as you work. Once the stain is gone, rinse the area with warm water and a clean sponge. Allow the area to dry naturally.

If the stain is still visible, a hairdryer set to low heat can be used. Move the hairdryer continuously over the affected area and be sure to keep it moving to avoid overheating the fabric.

Caring for Your Coach Handbag

To keep your Coach handbag looking its best, always follow instructions on the care label and consider protecting it with a waterproof spray before use. Be aware that not all Coach products are suitable to be dry cleaned, so always check the care label before attempting to do so.
