Most staining substances can be removed with different methods, but this guide focuses exclusively on barbeque sauce stains. Here are some steps to help you clean up these tough stains:

  1. Act quickly! Scrape away the excess sauce with a spoon or knife. Do not rub or press the sauce into the fabric.
  2. Turn the clothing inside out and flush the stain with cold water from the reverse side.
  3. If the stain still remains,Apply dish soap in a 2:1 ratio with hydrogen peroxide onto the stain. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes before rinsing.
  4. Soak clothing in a mixture of detergent and cool water for at least fifteen minutes.
  5. Scrub the stained area gently with an old toothbrush.
  6. Rinse the clothing and launder as normal.

Repeat if Necessary
