You should use a cleaner specifically designed to remove adhesive tape stains. Try to find one that is gentle enough for the fabric or leather of your wallet. It's also important to test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area of your wallet first to make sure that it won't cause any damage.
Once you’ve identified an appropriate cleaner, start by dampening a soft cloth with the cleaner and test it again on a small area of wallet to make sure it won't cause any permanent discoloration. Once you know it is safe, rub the cloth gently in circular motions over stained area until it removes the stain. If the stain is particularly stubborn, let the cleaner sit on the stain for a few minutes before wiping it away.
It's impossible to completely prevent stains from occurring on your wallet, but there are some steps you can take to reduce the likelihood of spills and accidents. Make sure not to place anything sticky or oily inside the wallet and always keep it in a well-ventilated area to avoid dust and dirt accumulation.
