Start by pre-treating the stain with a detergent and cool water. Focus the detergent on the stained area, and use a small brush or toothbrush to work it into the fibers. Let the detergent sit on the fabric for at least 20 minutes before rinsing away the excess solution with cold water.
To further loosen the adhesive tape residue, gently rub the area with a small amount of rubbing alcohol, baby oil, white vinegar, or a pre-made stain remover. Be sure to rinse the area afterwards with cold water and check for any remaining stain before proceeding.
Once the stain has been treated, you can put the affected item in washing machine on the gentle cycle. Use a detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics, and add a color-safe bleach if needed. Afterwards, hang or lay the piece flat to air dry.
For stubborn adhesive tape residue on delicate fabrics, the best way to remove them is to bring item to a dry cleaner. The cleaner may be able to use dry cleaning solvents to remove the stain quickly without further damaging fabric.
Following these steps should help you get adhesive tape stains out of your Uniqlo clothes. However, if any residue remains, it is best to take item to a dry cleaner.
