Adhesive tape residue is notoriously difficult to remove from materials like leather, suede, and sheepskin, which are common materials used in UGG boots. It can be intimidating to try to get tape stains off of UGGs without damaging the material, but with the right approach it's totally doable. Here's how.

Gather some cotton swabs (Q-tips), paper towels, a soft brush, rubbing alcohol, and a damp cloth. Make sure that the materials you're using are suitable for use on UGGs—you don't want any sharp edges or anything that may puncture or damage the material.
Using a cotton swab, soak the stained area of the UGG boot with rubbing alcohol. Press down on the area gently and rub in circles so that the fabric of the boot is completely saturated with alcohol. Let it sit for two minutes or until the stain is visibly fading away.
Using a damp cloth, gently rub the stained area in circles until the adhesive tape residue is completely gone. Depending on how stubborn the stain is, it may take several passes to get it all off. Be patient and make sure not to rub too hard—you don't want to damage material.
Once the stain is gone, use a paper towel to dry off the area. You may also want to use a soft brush to help lift away any remaining residue. Leave the UGGs to air dry before wearing them again.
