Step #1: Scrape the Excess Off

Using a plastic razor blade or a butter knife, begin to slowly scrape away hardened adhesive tape stain. Be sure to work slowly and carefully so that you don't damage the fabric of your t-shirt, as this could make the stain worse.

Step #2: Apply Denatured Alcohol to the Stain

Once you have removed majority of the hardened stain, it's time to take the next step and apply some denatured alcohol to the area. This will help to break up any remaining adhesive residue and make it easier to remove. Pour a small amount of denatured alcohol onto a clean cloth and gently rub it into the stained area. Be sure not to saturate the fabric with the alcohol.

Step #3: Rinse and Wash

After you have applied the denatured alcohol and the stain has started to loosen, it's time to give your t-shirt a thorough rinse with cold water. This will help to remove any residue that has been left behind. Once the t-shirt is rinsed, put it into your washing machine with mild detergent and wash it on a normal cycle. Hang it up to dry and you should be able to wear your favorite t-shirt again!
