Teneriffe lace is a delicate fabric requiring special cleaning technique. It requires special attention when dealing with adhesives as they can leave unsightly stains on the fabric. There are several methods you can try for removing adhesive tape stains from Teneriffe lace.

Method 1: Soaking in Cold Water

The first step is to soak item in cold water for at least 15 minutes. This allows the adhesive to loosen and make it easier to remove. You may also want to add some mild detergent to the water.

Method 2: Rubbing with a Cloth

Once the fabric has been soaked for 15 minutes, you can gently start rubbing the stain with a soft cloth or paper towel. Move in a circular motion and make sure you don’t rub too hard. This helps to break up the adhesive and should remove most of the stain. Be careful not to rub too hard as this might damage the delicate fabric.

Method 3: Detergent and Vinegar Solution

If the stain remains after you have tried the first two methods, you may need to make a more aggressive cleaning solution. Mix equal amounts of white vinegar and any kind of detergent, like dish soap. Dip a cloth into the mixture and rub any remaining stain gently until it disappears. This should help to break up the adhesive and remove any residue.

Method 4: Ironing

If all else fails, you may need to resort to ironing item. Place the stained fabric on a padded surface and set the iron to a low heat setting. Gently move the iron over the fabric for about 30 seconds and this should help to break up the adhesive and remove the stain.

By following these simple steps you can remove adhesive tape stains from Teneriffe lace and have it looking as good as new!
