Steps To Remove Adhesive Tape Stains From Taffeta

  1. Start by lightly ironing the stained area of the taffeta fabric. This will cause the adhesive tape to loosen up.
  2. Mix 1 part vinegar with 4 parts water and apply solution to the stained area with a cloth or cotton swab. Allow solution to sit for approximately 10 minutes.
  3. Use a toothbrush to gently scrub away the adhesive tape residue. Be sure to use very light pressure, as taffeta is a delicate fabric.
