The first step is to prepare a mixture of 2 parts warm water to 1 part white vinegar. Next, you will need to dampen a cloth or a sponge in the water-vinegar solution. Apply gentle pressure over the stained area of the fabric and make sure to rinse in cold water when finished. You may need to repeat this process several times until the stain is completely gone.

If the above method does not work, you can also opt for a more targeted approach and use rubbing alcohol on the stain. With a cotton swab, apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto affected area. Rub area gently and dab up the excess liquid with a paper towel. You should then rinse the fabric with cold water afterward.

Finally, you can also tackle sticky tape stains with a mild detergent solution. Combine a cup of warm water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid and put the solution into a spray bottle. Spray the area with the solution and let it rest for about 10 minutes before scrubbing the area with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse the area with cold water and the stubborn tape residue should come away easily.

These steps should help you get rid of sticky tape stains from your silk satin fabric. Make sure to always test any cleaning product or solution in an inconspicuous area to check for color fastness.
