The best way to clean adhesive tape residue from Rosepoint lace is to use a mild detergent and lukewarm water. Start by filling a sink or bowl with warm, soapy water. Then, place the lace in the solution and let it soak for about 10 minutes. This will help loosen any dirt or debris that may be stuck to the lace.

Once the lace has finished soaking, you can begin to work on the adhesive tape stain. Take a soft cloth and gently dab area affected by the residue. Work in a circular motion to ensure that entire area is being covered. Make sure to be extremely gentle when doing so, as Rosepoint lace is very delicate and can easily be damaged through excessive scrubbing.

If the stain remains after dabbing, then you will need to add a few drops of mild detergent directly onto the stain. Again, work in a circular motion with a soft cloth until the residue is removed. Once the adhesive tape stain is gone, rinse the cloth out in lukewarm water and use it to carefully remove any soap residue from the lace.

Finally, lay Rosepoint lace out on a clean towel and allow it to air dry. Never use a hair dryer or other heat sources, as this can damage the delicate fabric. Once the lace is fully dry, it should look as good as new!
