Adhesive tape is often used to secure pet beds because it holds them firmly in place without causing damage. The downside is that after removing the tape, a sticky residue is left behind which can be difficult to get rid of. Fortunately, there are a number of ways to clean adhesive tape stains from pet beds.
Before you start cleaning the adhesive tape stain, prepare the pet bed by removing any extra debris like lint. This will make the cleaning process easier.
The easiest way to remove adhesive tape stains from pet beds is to use rubbing alcohol. Pour some rubbing alcohol onto a dampened microfiber cloth and gently blot the stained area. Be sure not to scrub too hard as this may damage fabric. If the stain is still visible after a few minutes, repeat process until it has been completely removed.
If rubbing alcohol didn’t work, try using powdered laundry detergent. Mix one tablespoon of powdered laundry detergent with one cup of warm water in a spray bottle and shake it up. Spray the solution directly onto the stain and let it sit for five minutes. Then, take a damp cloth and gently scrub the area until the stain is gone.
Once you’ve removed adhesive tape stain, take a vacuum cleaner and vacuum over the area to pick up any residue that may have been left behind. This should help to restore your pet’s bed back to its original condition.
Removing adhesive tape stains from pet beds isn’t as hard as it may seem! With these simple steps, you should be able to easily remove adhesive tape stains from pet beds in no time.
