Whether you're an avid swimmer or just enjoy a few dips in pool each summer, you'll want to keep your onepiece swimsuit looking its best. But when adhesive tape gets stuck to the fabric, it can be a nightmare to remove. Don't worry, though - there are some simple steps you can take to get it off!
Use a pair of scissors to cut away as much of adhesive tape as possible. This will help reduce amount of sticky residue left behind on the fabric.
Mix together a paste of baking soda and water, using just enough water to make it into a paste-like consistency. You can also try using a paste made of equal parts white vinegar and baking soda.
Apply paste to affected area, making sure to cover the entire sticky spot. Allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes, then wipe it off gently with a damp cloth.
Rinse the area with cold water, being careful not to rub the fabric or scrub the area too aggressively. Repeat this step a few times until sticky residue is gone.
Allow swimsuit to air dry completely before wearing it again. Do not put it in the dryer.
By following these simple steps, you can safely and easily remove adhesive tape stains from your onepiece swimsuit. With a little patience and elbow grease, you can have your suit looking like new in no time!
