Adhesive tape can leave permanent stains on your Nike shoes if left unattended. Don’t panic! Here’s how to remove the adhesive tape stains from your Nike shoes:
Using a penknife or blade, gently peel away as much of sticky residue as you can from the Nike shoe. Remember to use caution while doing this, as not to cause any damage to the shoe.
Using a cotton swab, apply a small amount of nail polish remover to the affected area. Be careful not to apply too much, as it can damage the surface of the shoe or cause discoloration.
Using a sponge, gently scrub the area in a circular motion to remove the remaining residue. You may need to repeat this step several times until adhesive tape stain is completely gone.
After scrubbing the affected area, rinse the area with warm water and a small amount of dishwashing soap. Be sure to rinse the area thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
Once the area is clean, allow it to dry completely before wearing the shoes. This will help ensure that adhesive tape stain doesn’t return.
Using these five easy steps, you can successfully remove adhesive tape stains from your Nike shoes. If done correctly, your Nike shoes will look as good as new!
