Step 1: Gather Supplies

Before attempting to clean up adhesive tape stains from your mules, make sure you have the right supplies. You’ll need a cleaning solution specifically designed for use on fabric, a soft bristled brush, and a microfiber cloth.

Step 2: Apply Cleaning Solution

Apply a small amount of cleaning solution directly onto the adhesive stain. Make sure to use the product as directed for best results. Let the solution sit for two to three minutes before continuing to the next step.

Step 3: Scrub Stain

Using the soft bristled brush, gently scrub the stained area until the adhesive comes off completely. You may need to reapply more solution if stain is still there.

Step 4: Rinse and Dry

Once the adhesive has been removed, rinse the area with warm water and pat dry with a microfiber cloth. If the stain still remains, repeat the process until it is completely gone.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Mules Again

Your mules should now look like new! Admire your handiwork and enjoy wearing them again.
