Before you start removing adhesive stains, you'll need to gather the supplies. These include a clean, dry cloth or paper towel, a spray bottle, white vinegar, mild detergent, and an old toothbrush.
Fill the spray bottle with white vinegar and give the stained area a light misting. Allow the vinegar to sit on the stain for several minutes.
Once vinegar has had time to work, use damp cloth or paper towel to lightly soak up stain. Make sure to use gentle pressure and try not to rub the stain.
Next, apply a small amount of mild detergent directly onto stain. Use the old toothbrush to gently scrub the detergent into the fabric in a circular motion. Allow the detergent to sit for five minutes.
Finish by rinsing the area with cool water until all traces of the detergent have been removed. Then, use a clean, dry cloth or paper towel to blot the area dry.
