Step 1 - Prepare Jacket

Start by laying the jacket flat on a clean surface. Then, using a brush, remove any dirt or debris that may be stuck to the adhesive tape stains. After this is done, take a damp cloth and lightly dab it on area. This will help soften the adhesive tape and make it easier to clean.

Step 2 - Apply Cleaning Solution

Next, prepare your cleaning solution. You can either use a commercial product specifically designed for removing adhesive tape stains or mix together some mild detergent and warm water. Be sure to use a non-abrasive cloth when applying the liquid to stain so as not to irritate the fabric.

Step 3 - Blot and Rinse

Using a clean cloth, gently dab area to remove the adhesive. If necessary, reapply the solution until the tape has been removed. Once the adhesive has been removed, rinse area with cold water to remove any residue. Finally, lay jacket flat to dry.

Step 4 - Finishing Up

Now that your jacket is free from adhesive tape stains, you should apply a protective coat of leather or fabric protector to keep it looking its best. It's also a good idea to hand wash your jacket periodically to keep it in top condition.
