7 Simple Steps to Clean Adhesive Tape Stains From Handbags and Purses
Tape stains on handbags and purses can be tricky and difficult to remove. Here are 7 simple steps to clean that pesky adhesive residue with out destroying your favorite bag.

- Mix one-part white vinegar with two parts warm water in a spray bottle. Shake bottle gently to combine the ingredients.
- Spray the mixture over the tape stain and allow it to soak in for approximately 10 minutes.
- Gently scrub the area with a soft cloth or sponge using circular motions.
- Rinse the cloth and dab at the stained area to remove the vinegar mixture.
- Reapply the vinegar and water solution if the stain remains.
- Soak a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and gently rub the area with the swab.
- Allow the area to dry completely before returning the bag to normal use.
Stubborn tape residue may require multiple treatments before completely removing the stain. Be sure to always test any cleaning agent or solution in an inconspicuous spot prior to use.
