If you have adhesive tape stuck on your flip flops, you'll want to start by carefully peeling away any remaining pieces of tape. This will make it easier to get the sticky residue off of the material. If you find that the tape is too sticky and difficult to remove, you might try using a pair of tweezers or a butter knife to gently pull away pieces.

Once all of the tape has been removed, you'll want to use a solvent to remove the sticky residue. There are a few different solvents that you can use, depending on the type of material your flip flops are made of. For plastic or rubber flip flops, you can use acetone or rubbing alcohol, while for leather or synthetic materials, olive oil, peanut butter, or WD-40 can work.

Once you've chosen your solvent, apply it to a soft cloth and wipe down area with the adhesive residue. You may need to use a bit of elbow grease to rub away the residue. With some solvents, such as olive oil or peanut butter, you may also want to rinse the material afterwards with soapy water to remove any lingering residue.

Finally, check the area for any residue that didn't come off and repeat the process if needed. Once you've successfully removed all of adhesive from your flip flops, be sure to let them dry completely before wearing them again.
