Mix some warm water with a few drops of dish soap in a bowl. Dip a clean cloth into this mixture and dab stained area several times. You want to dampen the area, not soak it.
Once the stain is dampened, apply some white vinegar directly to the area with a clean cloth. Leave for a couple of minutes before using a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub away the adhesive.
Rinse the adhesive tape stain with clean water and gently pat dry with a paper towel. Finally, leave the fabric to air dry completely.
