Adhesive tapes are a convenient way to quickly secure items, but their sticky residues can be disastrous to remove from clothing like cotton chambray. No need to despair though! You can take care of those frustrating adhesive tape stains with the following steps:

Step 1: Make a DIY cleaning solution

The first step to cleaning your cotton chambray is to make a DIY cleaning solution. To do this, mix equal parts water and white distilled vinegar in a spray bottle. If the stain is particularly stubborn, add a few drops of dish soap to mixture as well.

Step 2: Spray the stained area

Once the cleaning solution is made, spray the stained area generously with it. This will help loosen and dissolve sticky residue. To make sure the entire area is adequately covered, let the cleaning solution sit for about 10-15 minutes

Step 3: Rinse and dry

After letting the cleaning solution sit, rinse stained area with cold water. Once the area has been rinsed, pat the material dry with a clean towel. Then, leave the garment to air dry completely before wearing.

With just a few simple steps, your cotton chambray can be free of sticky adhesive tape stains!
