Get Rid of Adhesive Tape Stains from Chiffon in No Time
Adhesive tapes, when used on delicate fabrics like chiffon, often leave behind stubborn stains. Removing such stains can be difficult and time-consuming. However, if you use the right materials and techniques, you can get your chiffon clothing looking like new in no time!

Materials Needed
- A few paper towels
- Spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol
- Soft cloth or sponge
- Dry-cleaning solvent
- Laundry detergent
Instructions
- Blot the adhesive tape stain with a soft, dry cloth or paper towel to remove any excess glue.
- Spray stain liberally with rubbing alcohol and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Rub stained area gently with a soft cloth or sponge until the adhesive tape stain is removed.
- After all traces of the stain have been removed, rinse the affected area with cold water.
- Mix a teaspoon of laundry detergent with a cup of warm water in a bowl. Soak the stained area in this mixture for about 15 minutes.
- Rinse the area with cold water and blot it dry with paper towels.
- If the adhesive tape stain remains, apply a small amount of dry-cleaning solvent to the stained area and and blot it with paper towels.
- Rinse the area again with cold water and let it air dry.
