Step 1: Soak in Warm Water

Start by filling a bucket or tub with warm water. Submerge the stained area and let it soak for about 30 minutes.

Step 2: Apply Detergent

After 30 minutes has passed, apply some laundry detergent directly onto the stained area. Rub detergent gently into the fabric and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse with Cold Water

Rinse detergent off with cold water. If you’re concerned about fading, try rinsing with lukewarm water instead.

Step 4: Repeat

If stain is still visible, repeat the process until the stain is gone. With stubborn stains, this may take multiple attempts.

Step 5: Air Dry

Once you’ve removed the adhesive tape stain, air dry the fabric. Never put your capris in a clothes dryer, as this can cause additional damage.
