Before you begin cleaning the adhesive tape stains off your boxers, it’s important to take a few preparatory steps. First, make sure to turn the boxers inside out so that the stain is facing away from your body. Then, fill up a sink or basin with lukewarm water, and add a few drops of liquid detergent. Gently swish the water around with your hands to create some suds. Once you’ve done this, submerge your boxers in the soapy solution for about 15 minutes.

Once that time has elapsed, it’s time to work on the stains. Grab a clean cloth or sponge, dip it into the soapy water, and then gently dab the stained area until the adhesive tape residue begins to come off. Depending on how strong the adhesive is, you may need to apply additional pressure or scrub area harder. In cases where the adhesive is really tough, you can try using a bit of white vinegar to help loosen it up.

When the stain is completely gone, rinse the boxers in cold water and then toss them in the washing machine with some liquid detergent and a color-protecting fabric softener. Wash them according to the care instructions on tag, and then hang them outside to dry. Once they’re dry, your boxers will look good as new!
