First, you will need to gather all the necessary materials. To properly clean tape stains from belts, you'll need some rubbing alcohol, paper towel, a small brush, some laundry detergent, a sponge, and a dry towel. If you have it, you can also use a leather cleaning solution specifically designed for belt care.

Now that you have all the supplies, it’s time to start cleaning. Start by using paper towel and some rubbing alcohol to gently remove any adhesive residue. Next, mix some laundry detergent with warm water and soak a sponge in the mixture. Gently scrub away the stain, using a circular motion. When finished, rinse off the area with cold water and pat dry with a dry towel.

If the stain still remains, then you will need to use a leather cleaning solution. Using a soft brush, apply cleaner to tape stain on the belt. Rub solution in a circular motion until stain is no longer visible. Finally, rinse off the cleaner and dry the belt with a soft cloth or towel.

As you can see, removing tape stains from your belt isn’t difficult. With the right supplies and a bit of patience, you should be able to get those unsightly stains out in no time. Just remember to always test any cleaning products on a small area of the belt first before cleaning the entire belt.
