Sticky tape can be an alpaca owner's worst nightmare; not only does it leave behind a nasty residue, but it can also create permanent damage if not removed correctly. Fortunately, with a few clever techniques, you can safely and effectively clean away any adhesive tape stains from your alpaca.

Step 1: Remove the Tape

The first step is to remove the sticky tape, starting at one corner of the tape and peeling it away slowly and carefully. If the tape is difficult to remove, try using a pair of tweezers or a piece of tape to help you pull it off. Once the tape has been removed, be sure to dispose of it right away.

Step 2: Scrape Away Residue

Once the tape has been removed, check for any residual glue that may still be on the alpaca fabric. Using a blunt knife or a credit card, carefully scrape away any excess glue. Be sure to work slowly and gently in order to avoid damaging the fabric.

Step 3: Blot Stain
